Robin Has An Idea
The last time I flew, I didn’t have a head cold. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I got a cold (no doubt due to the obsessive hand-washing). Here’s hoping my head doesn’t explode on descent tomorrow.
I leave from Charlotte tomorrow afternoon and land in Baltimore to stay with my friend Anastasia. We’ll then ride a bus to New York and meet our friend Ellen for the 2010 SCBWI Conference.
It’s my first time going to a big kid lit conference. I’m signed up to go to one in February in Atlanta as well.
Though the three of us will have a great time conferencing, chillin’ in our swank hotel room, and visiting some writerly NYC spots, there will be a bit of fear and trembling, at least in my case. So, I thought you might like to experience it with me. I’ll be blogging here as my journey progresses, updating you on what I see, hear, and learn during the conference and on what I see, hear, and taste out in the wide world.
More to come!
The last time I flew - Summer 09 semester in England. Oh, to be flying to London...

SCBWI New York ~ 2010
